By far the largest and the most populous country (about 190 million inhabitants) in South America, Brazil is a great destination to experience a new culture.

It is also considered as the land of football, “samba”, “bossa nova” and the Amazon Forest. Friendly and very open people make it one of the most exciting countries in the world. The country is divided into 26 states and 1 Federal District where the capital is situated, Brasilia. In Brazil you will see, mountains, rivers, wetlands, beaches, different ethnic origins, tall people, short people, huge metropolises and small towns without leaving the country.

The diversity of the culture and the scenery are the country’s strong points. But you will only learn of its distinctive feature when you arrive here: the Brazilian people. The mix of races and colours makes this a happy and fun-loving people, yet strong, fighting and full of pride for their land. And its hospitable spirit is unequalled anywhere else in the world. Brazilians are known worldwide as open, talkative, friendly and easy-going people. They are very proud of their peaceful culture, their soccer team and their music. All Brazilians speak Portuguese but Spanish and English may help you get around when you arrive, however it does not mean that you do not have to learn Portuguese!
