Internship Abroad

Elevate Your Career with an International Experience

Brazil is among the world’s 7 largest economies. Its vast fertile lands enable record production of grains, coffee, and fruits, giving the country global recognition. Tourism grows 15% per year. Brazil also leads in meat production.

The industrial sector is advanced, productive, and exports airplanes, software, shoes, metals, automobiles, and handcrafts. Brazilian fashion and strong brands gain increasing visibility abroad. Today, Brazil is a modern, creative, and globally integrated country, with strong business potential and a stable, growing economy.

A training program offers international practical experience, immersion in Brazilian culture and work life, the chance to learn Portuguese, and develop a professional network during a 2–4 month placement in a selected company or organization.

How it works?

Acomodation and Meals

Brazilian Experience chooses the locations and organizations based on availability and intern’s background. It cannot be guaranteed that an intern can be placed in a chosen company. The types of business organizations an intern can act at are based on a number of factors:

  • Age
  • Level of Portuguese
  • Curriculum
  • Interests
  • Abilities required

Placements are available in several disciplines:

  • Architecture
  • Business
  • Conflict Analysis
  • Economics
  • Environmental Studies
  • Global Affairs
  • Information Technology (IT)
  • Marketing
  • Social Work
  • Tourism and Hospitality
  • Urban Planning
  • Students are placed based on their academic background, personal and professional interests. Positions might be paid or non-paid.

Community Engagement & Conservation Awareness

Brazilian Experience organizes homestay placements, offering students deep cultural immersion and a great opportunity to improve Portuguese.

Brazilian host families are open, kind, and protective, carefully selected through interviews and home inspections.

The placement includes breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is light—bread, butter or cheese, and a beverage like coffee, chocolate milk, or juice.

Lunch is the main meal in Brazil, but during weekdays, most families don’t return home to eat. On weekends, especially Sundays, families often gather for lunch or barbecues. Dinner usually happens after 8:00 pm and may vary from a full meal to a light snack like soup or a sandwich.

Accommodation includes one night before and one night after the internship program dates.
