“I have been studying Portuguese, and knew that this would be a great opportunity for me to become more fluent in speaking. In my home country, I have many friends who are from Brazil, and who have lived here. Brazil is where you will meet some of the most kind and wonderful people! It is very easy to make many friends with people from Brazil. Brazil is also growing very much in doing business, and I knew I could learn many things while working with the people here. Brazil is full of life, color, and amazing food and history! It is a perfect place!

I am definitely adjusting to the differences in Brazil compared to my home country (US). It is difficult to learn a new language also. I am very excited though, to learn from my new friends and from the company I will be working with. I can’t wait to talk to the people around me, and make new friends. I have already made friends, and love it here in Curitiba! I hope to understand Brazilian culture better, and learn Portuguese! I plan on visiting a lot of the beautiful and historical places in Brazil! I can’t wait.“
