Fishing, picking fruits and vegetables, wine tasting, great food and typical bucolic landscapes. Organized since 1999, the Colombo´s Italian Circuit of Rural Tourism offers various leisure options. At Rodovia da Uva, in the Roça Grande neighborhood, the tourist information office has brochures, maps and assistance in scheduling visits to properties.

The different wineries offers tourists the most varied types of wines, from the traditional colonial wine, to the manufactured ones, as well as a variety of products such as cheese, pickles, sweets, jams, salami, liqueurs, craft products made of wood, and craft products in general. The customers are always greeted by the owners and employees, who serve the public explaining the manufacture of products. Wines, cheeses and salamis can be tasted to choose before purchase.

Another very important attraction at the Colombo Italian Circuit is the Bacaetava Cave, discovered 106 years ago but open to visitation since 2000. A guide accompanies the tourists during the visit to show what is inside the corridors and rock formations. The place is very dark and you need a flashlight to make your way. There are also many bats that inhabit the place. The Grotto is located inside a park, which has a native forest, being an important area of environmental conservation. Today the Bacaetava Cave, receives about 1500 visitors per month. For groups of people over 12 people it is required to make reservation in advance.

The Italian Circuit offers an innovative way of leisure, where several sites are open to visitors allowing them to get to know places that tell the history of Italian immigrants, contemplate the natural beauty as well as the inherited traditions of the Italians, in different aspects, such as religion, typical food, architecture and folklore.
