Jose Romero and Xavier Pulido are two of the Texas Tech University students that were in Ponta Grossa during June and July for an internship at our partner Senai. Both of them are Civil Engineering students.
They developed tasks in their study area such as dimensioning materials, taking weights of materials (dry and submerged), preparing concrete samples and other ceramic materials for compression tests.
Both of them are fluent in Spanish, which makes it easier for them to speak and learn Portuguese, one of the reasons why they choose Brazil for an exchange program. We hope that all of their expectations were achieved during their time here and that they can continue to grow, not only as professionals, but as person as well.
