The American Barbara Paulson is 65 years old and has a Master Degree in Elementary Education. She defines herself as friendly, open and flexible. She likes to meet new people and solve new challenges. Her decision to come to Brazil was certainly a challenge because it was the first time she traveled to another country!

She has used her time, patience, experience and wisdom to help the animals at the Wildlife Sanctuary. We are glad to say that she made new friends while discovering a whole new culture.

After she finished her experience in our country we asked her opinion about it and she told us that “working with the staff to see the help with what they do each day with the animals everyday are amazing. The animals were well cared for”.  She also said that ” it was a privilege to get to know BE and I am proud to say that there are incredible people like you to help take care of our wonderful world!”

We are very happy to see that once again our mission of creating once-in-a-lifetime experiences through mutual respect and personal growth was successfully accomplished. Barbara is an inspiring example that shows us that is never too late to achieve our dreams.
