Brazilian Experience (BE) was founded in 2009 by professionals with extensive international experience and a shared passion: to promote Brazil as an enriching destination for studies and cultural exchange. Over the years, we have partnered with more than 20 agencies, universities, and international mobility institutions across different continents, connecting people to Brazil through transformative experiences.
We have always believed that immersing oneself in another culture is a unique learning opportunity, inspiring respect, empathy, and personal growth.
With nearly 20 years in International Education, much has changed in the world, and at BE as well.
Brazilian Experience was founded with the purpose of providing transformative cultural experiences. Over time, we realized that our mission extended far beyond that. More than just exchange programs, we create experiences that offer opportunities to engage with new beliefs and values, journeys of self-discovery and reflection that provoke internal changes and prepare participants for adulthood.
With this new perspective, we redesigned our programs and expanded our initiatives to include leadership development. .
Today, Brazilian Experience not only connects students to new cultures but also designs transformational journeys for global leaders.
We have incorporated the Inner Development Goals (IDGs) as the foundation of our programs, ensuring that each experience fosters personal growth and the global awareness needed to drive systemic change.
Our programs integrate facilitation methodologies, experiential learning, and deep reflections to create authentic connections between participants, local communities, and the environment.
We believe that international education needs to evolve. It is no longer enough to offer immersion experiences; we must design journeys that cultivate leadership committed to a more just and sustainable world.

Founder of Brazilian Experience
Rafaela Rolim is an experienced facilitator in learning processes and collaborative leadership, with over 19 years of expertise in designing learning journeys and human development programs.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management and postgraduate degrees in Cultural Management (UNA) and Business Management (Fundação Dom Cabral).
