Check it out, our interview with Birgitte:
1- Why did you choose to come to Brazil for an exchange program?
I just finished my Master’s degree in Human Rights Studies and got an amazing opportunity to go to Brazil with my boyfriend who is going to work here.
Brazil is far away from home and my quite comfortable life in Norway. I wanted to experience something else. I hope and believe that Brazil will make me grow and develop my understanding of myself and the world.
2- What is the main reason you choose to intern?
I am in this period of life when I don’t need much money and I don’t have any responsibilities for others in Norway. I believe that working as an intern will be a great experience because I can both contribute to something good, and it will be a good investment for future work.
3- What are your goals with this experience? If we met at the end of your stay, which achievements would you like to tell your friends you had?
I want experience with work that somehow is related to Human Rights. I want to be in an environment where I can meet people, learn about Brazilian culture and language.
4- How do you feel today that you are starting this experience? Can you describe your feelings?
I’m glad and looking forward to start.
