Byron is an American student of Mechanical Engineering at Texas Tech University. He likes to design and build things, especially with Legos. He is really interested in robotics and machinery, “The more difficult the designs are the better I like it” says the student. Here in Brazil he will do an internship at SENAI C2I, the International Innovation Center at the national service for industrial training based in Curitiba.

Be: Why did you choose to come to Brazil for an exchange program?

Going to the Southern Hemisphere and to a country I have not been to would be an exciting experience.

 
Be: What is the main reason you choose to go on exchange?

Doing an exchange program is a good way to see new things and be able to work on my resume at the same time.

Be: What are your goals with this experience? If we met at the end of your stay, which achievements would you like to tell your friends you had.

I would like to have had a successful robotics competition and to say that I have been to the Falls.

 
Be: How do you feel today that you are starting this experience?

I have fun and learn at my internship as well as learn about new culture.
