The Finnish Emmi has a degree in Social Sciences and she is dedicated to pursue a career in multicultural social work. Cross-cultural exchange is Emmi’s passion and she has always enjoyed travelling and living abroad, she even lived and worked during 12 months in Brazil in the past as an English teacher. Now here in Curitiba, she will be an intern at ELO Apoio Social e Ambiental, a NGO that develops social and environmental projects in Curitiba.
We interviewed her to find out what are her thoughts about the beginning of this experience. Check it out:

Improve my language skills, improve my ability to adapt to new environments, improve my cross cultural communication skills, increase my self esteem, be braver and believe in myself.
Be: How do you feel about this experience? Can you describe your feelings?
Excited and nervous. Hopefully I will be able to meet the requirements and expectations at my work place.
