Today we welcomed our new volunteers in the program Wildlife Sanctuary. Gabriela is from Ecuador and it is passionate for animals, Molly is from England and besides helping at the project, she wants to practice her Portuguese during her time in Brazil. Both of the girls wants to make an actual impact for the planet through this experience and help as much as they can.

BE: Why did you choose to come to Brazil for an exchange program?

I choose to come to Brazil because I have always wanted to visit here and learn more about the country and its culture. I chose this program because I love animals and want to help a good cause involving them.

BE: How do you feel today that you are starting this experience? Can you describe your feelings? What are your expectations for the program?

I feel really excited to start the program and happy to be here. My expectations are to be as much helpful I can and to enjoy my time here working with everyone of the staff and with the volunteers.

BE: Why did you choose to come to Brazil for an exchange program?

I want the chance to experience a completely different culture and practice my Portuguese. I want to give something back to the world and have the chance to meet new and inspiring people.

BE: How do you feel today that you are starting this experience? Can you describe your feelings? What are your expectations for the program?

I am excited to spend a month in such beautiful surroundings and have been made to feel very welcome. I expect to learn a lot and gain new and positive life experiences.
