We welcomed Nicole Lindén to Brazil in September. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business and came to intern at ASID Brasil (Social Action for the Equality of Differences ) an non-profit organization here in Curitiba.
We interviewed her to find out what are her thoughts in the beginning of her internship. Check out what she had to say on her first days in Brazil:
1- What do you expect/ what are your expectations for the program?
I would like to get to know the Brazilian culture as much as possible. Also, I would like that the work I’m doing could go well with help from BE if necessary.
2- Why did you choose to come to Brazil?
I always wanted to explore South-America so Brazil was a very good option for me.
3- What is the main reason that led you to become a volunteer/intern?
To get to know a different culture, especially in South America. I think the only way to really explore a new country is to live there.
