Satu is a Finnish girl with degree in Tourism and a Master in Marketing who has cycling, travelling, fishing and camping as hobbies. She will do an internship at CCVB, a non-profit organization which aims to contribute for the development of Paraná’s main cities.

Be: Why did you choose to come to Brazil for an exchange program?

I wanted to do my internship out of Europe and wanna experience different culture than Finland. CIMO had a few interesting countries to apply and Brazil sounded interesting for me. And also I have met some brazilians abroad and they told me about Brazil.

Be: What is the main reason you choose to go on exchange?

The main reason to go on exchange is passion for travelling, meeting new people and cultures. I also wanted to improve my language skills and get international experiences

Be: What are your goals with this experience? If we met at the end of your stay, which achievements would you like to tell your friends you had.

My goals are to get work experience and practice my skills in marketing. This is my first internship and Im waiting for to learn new things at work. After this internship I hope I know what I want to do in the future.

Im also waiting for to meet new interesting people at work and outside. Hopefully after 3 months my portuguese is better and i know the basics at least.

Be: How do you feel today that you are starting this experience? Can you describe your feelings? 

Im excited and looking for my internship to start. I dont have any idea about the internship but i really hope it is great and educational experience for me.
