The project “Conhecendo o Rio a Pé” is a opportunity for tourists and Rio citizens to know better the historicals beauties of the city for free; looking to promote the awareness of the need of preservation.
The cultural field trips are on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, starting at 4 p.m. and the ecologics on Saturdays and Sundays at 9 a.m. The tours last 4 and 5 hours respectively.
The only problems are that they only have 30 vacancies per tour and the guides don’t speak English.
To sign up to this totally free trip you must call the association responsible, +1 (21) 2394-2151 or +1 (21) 2271-7174.
